Wake in Fright, Ted Kotcheff's lost Aussie classic was back on the BIG Screen tonight at Sundance Kabuki Theater. This is one rough and tumble ride through the primal nature of Australia back country. Amazing brute performance by Donald "Dr. Loomis" Pleasence as the quite not right character Doc. Tydon. Something to search out on the Netflix queue for all of its beer guzzling, kangaroo fighting, and extensional mayhem. You'll never look at a kangaroo or a glass quite the same again.
